Palmitic acid, also known as cetyl or hexadecanoic acid, is a saturated fatty acid found in abundance in plants and animals. It has 16 carbon atoms (C16). It is found especially in palm oil but also in all oils and fats of plant or animal origin (meat, butter, milk, cheese).

Applications :

LASCARAY Palmitic acid is a 100% natural source material used in particular by the cosmetics industry (soaps), the food industry (margarines) and in many other applications (pharma, paint …). LASCARAY markets it in solid form (glitter).
